Hudson – founder of NapTown Nutrition – realized how important nutrition was at a ‘later’ age. As a former collegiate football player and coach, Hudson has had the chance to build his background through self-experimentation, lots of reading, certifications, and many clients. With 20 plus years of fitness and nutrition experience, Hudson was born for this job. Spreading the word about health and wellness and teaching others how to live a long, healthy, life through prevention instead of needing to take a pill to cure one ailment and gain other side effect symptoms, is work he take seriously. He always strives to be the best he can be for others.
Hudson wasn’t always in the gym setting. After completing his BA in Management and Finance, he took a job to work for fortune 100 company DuPont and quickly worked his way up the corporate ladder. With a plush job and plenty of cash flow, he decided to give up all that security for his dream job that would allow him to impact the lives of others. Managing a gym has led Hudson to so many new open doors and continues to provide new pathways for him to help others. Never does he despise a Monday nor feel like he’s ever going to work, Hudson is truly living his dream job.
After being introduced to CrossFit in late 2011, Hudson found nutrition and started to dive in deep ultimately changing his diet and lifestyle. Hudson started taking courses on nutrition which led to the Dr. Barry Sears Wellness Institute certification and his new journey. He feels blessed to be able to share his passion about health, wellness and pushing off chronic disease on a daily basis.
Hudson has worked in the nutrition and fitness arena for combined over 15 years, helping hundreds of clients achieve their goals.
Hudson loves empowering clients to make healthy lifestyle changes that continues to push the needle forward and push off chronic disease. He provides health coaching through diet and exercise to help his clients meet their goals.
The greatest gift on planet Earth is NOT a huge estate with millions in the bank, it’s not something money can buy at all. “When I die, the greatest gift I can think of leaving behind to everyone I have encountered, is fitness and health. The opportunity to go years without being sick, waking up every morning clear-headed, never having the need to swallow a pill, feeling strong and positive, helping others, functioning the way humans were meant to function, having healthy and positive relationships, running around with grandchildren or even great-grandchildren, daring to take a different path than the average American; these are life’s greatest gifts and why I choose to dedicate my life to fitness and health.”
